Cheap Las VEgas Flights?
im taking my family to las vegas and i need to know some good sites with CHEAP air fare and hotel, from Columbus,oh to Las, vEgas nv, staying at the monte carlo or bally's hotel=)

Hi, There are two main ways I like to book my Vegas hotel and airfare. 1) Package Deal...via Southwest, Costco, or Alaska Air, or whoever flies most out of Columbus, Ohio. This tends to be pretty cheap as a whole, and sometimes gives you extra benefits, and gets most of your planning done at once...however...the second option is what I like most: 2) I use southwest, costco, or www.kayak.com (checks many search engines at the exact same time) to book my flight alone. It allows me more options with flight times, prices, and etc. I especially like kayak.com . Then I book my hotel directly through the hotel itself. Why? because 1) better rooms are reserved through direct bookings as opposed to those made via orbitz, priceline, etc. 2) you're not booked into contract so you can cancel, downgrade, upgrade, and make changes at just about anytime without any penalty or loss of deposit. 3) Usually it's the cheapest rate online...and if not 4) the direct bookings have something called "best rate guarantee" which both Bally's and Monte Carlo offer...which is if you find a cheaper rate online than what you booked yours for...they will not only match that lower rate, but drop it an extra 10-25%. Last time I qualified it saved me a $100 per room. Also you can always call to re-rate if the online price drops too (unlike if you book through a package). Anyway Vegas is great. have fun! ~G

Try the link below. When booking, use the codes next to the hotel names. When you book on line, the hotels provide a space for these codes. The sooner you book your flight the better. I booked my flight from JFK to LAS a month ago for a June trip. Since then it has gone up $40 each way. The price of fuel is going to keep raising the rates. *
