Where can I buy cheap ticket in advance for las vegas vacation?
I want to know will it be cheaper if I buy online or straight at the airlines for better deal on flight ticket to las vegas?

if you buy online through a travel consolidator (like expedia, travelocity, etc...) depending on your market you might get a discounted rate because they buy tickets in bulk amounts and the airlines give them a good deal on them. but like if you live in boise or something where they don't do a lot of volume you're just as well off going through the airlines websites directly.

That depends. Sometimes you can get flights cheaper from the airlines directly and sometimes you cannot. My personal experience is that the flight costs aren't that much different straight from the airlines except for a few dollars of fees. If you are booking rooms with the flight, you may be able to get deals through one of the many, many online travel agencies. I booked a trip to Las Vegas off of one of the online sites that ended up being much cheaper than booking the two separate.

Try Allegiant Air. Depending on where you start, they have some pretty good deals.

I go to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year every year and I have found that the airline sites are cheaper. The major carriers from the East coast where I am are Southwest and America West, also American. I have usually gotten the best price at Southwest, by maybe $10. But lately all of the airlines have raised prices to cover fuel costs. The cost for me went up $100. per ticket. So the really cheap tickets may not be there any more. Since Expedia and Travelocity charge $10. for booking your tickets, I suggest using their sites to see who flies to Vegas from where you are and then go to the airline sites to check also. write down the flight number to compare. REmember that the flights that leave late in the day and get to Vegas at 9:00 PM or later AND the rturn flights that are overnight (redeyes) are cheaper. Also flights are cheaper midweek.
