not really but you should check everyday because prices change and try to get the cheapest one

no its not. it can actually be better that way. you save money because the longer you wait to book a flight the more it costs. just be sure you book a refundable flight and a refundable hotel.

Great time for flight booking. Hotel prices could change but if the price looks good then buy. You can always do the orbitz where if the price drops they will give you the difference in the price.

September is about right that is when I would book. read this to see the best way to get the best rates for the hotel http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2009/05/11/how-to-get-the-best-room-rate-in-las-vegas/

Nope thats perfect! The sooner the better- they have way better deals when you book in advance! Look around a lot before booking though for the best deals- they run specials a lot during the week!! Sometimes my family flys to Vegas to see me for between $39 to $79 flights one way- thats cheap! Try these websites: Cheaptickets.com Southwestairlines.com AllegiantAirlines.com (this only flys out of certain airports) Good Luck- have fun!

I would book my hotel right now, to be honest. As long as you book it directly with the hotel (ie - from the hotel's website), you can cancel with no added fee. Look here for Vegas hotel deals: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/travel-deals/704925/ (scroll through the last couple of pages to find the most recent deals) Basically, you book a hotel rate right now. You'll have to pay the deposit (usually the first night's cost) up front. Then, monitor that site above for cheaper rates. If you find a cheaper hotel rate or a nicer hotel for the same price, then cancel your first reservation. Your full deposit will be refunded. Then, book the cheaper rate or nicer hotel. When I go out to Vegas, I often book the hotel two or three times (sometimes more). The price will often go down and you will also find that some hotels offer a bunch of freebies along with the reservation. If one hotel is the same as another, but offers better incentives, you can always switch. Some airlines allow the same thing. Southwest, for instance, will allow you to rebook a flight if the price is reduced.
