Though there are many "discount" websites. you can't do any better than dealing directly with the airlines. Continental is offering a discount if you qualify for their VISA card.

I travel to Vegas a few times a year from Ohio and I always get the best rates on either Southwest or Air Tran. Southwest has direct flights for cheaper prices than flights with stops on the major airlines. You can also check bags for free.

depends upon where you are coming from--start w/Southwest or Jet Blue. Check the expeditors like expedia etc for their best deal and then one against the others in bid form. Do southwest and jet blue by phone

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money.
