As long as you have at least a high school degree/GED, you can apply with any airline that is hiring. You will undergo an interview process and background check and if you are accepted and offered a position, you will undergo training from the airline to receive your Flight Attendant Certificate of Demonstrated Proficiency cert from the FAA. Do NOT take any classes offered by any F/A or cabin crew school - its a waste off money and will not give you any advantage over any other candidate. Right out of Barbie Boot Camp you will be flying Reserve - you will not have any regular schedule or line. Pay also varies between carriers as well as regionals. Expect to make $24k - $29k right out of training.

Currently, only Allegiant Air, Omni Air and United have bases in Las Vegas. Any other airline and you will have to move to commute to your base city. To be a Flight Attendant, you need to be at least 18 years of age, and a high school graduate. Any public contact work experience- even if it's working at a burger joint- is also beneficial. Other things that can improve your chances are college education, or foreign language skills. Most airlines will train you as part of their hiring process, so prior training is not required, nor is it even recognized. You are best served by simply applying with the airlines you want to work for, and meet their citizenship or residency requirements. You can find more information on the Flight Attendant career (most of which is too long to post here) on my blog at http://flightattendantcareer.blogspot.com/

Actually, Southwest airlines also has a base in Las Vegas, but you are not guaranteed a base: the airline will assign you where you are needed so you must be willing to relocate. Do not take any courses; the airline that hires you puts you through extensive training. Look on this website http://www.flightattendantcareers.com for information about the job and which airlines are hiring. Then go on the website of any airlines you are interested in and apply. On these websites you will also find information about the benefits, the job, and the pay. The airlines are looking for people with experience in customer service, who are dependable and flexible with their hours and who are team players and can be friendly, polite, and gracious under pressure. You will be on "reserve" your first year or several years which means you are on call and must report to the airport in uniform, ready to fly for up to 4 days or more, sometimes with as little as 2 hours notice. Starting pay will be in the low 20's, but you could make more if you work a lot of hours. Fun and interesting job; you get to meet some wonderful and not so wonderful fellow crew members and passengers. Good luck!
