Are flights into Las Vegas bumpy?
I do not recall if it was Denver or Las Vegas where flights get bumpy when landing or taking off. Can anybody tell me if flights to Las Vegas are smooth or not? I get motion sick easily, will bring dramamine just in case. Well, it looks like there also other things to consider other than weather it is a known fact that flying over the rockies in colorado produces more bumps due to the mountains http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/general_aviation/print.main?id=1201339

I lived in Vegas for over 25 years and never had a bumpy flight..but going into Denver once was very bumpy and we were in a long holding pattern until the flight could land and half of us had barf bags in our hand...and if you do get sick easily in a plane..dramamine? (for motion sickness) will do the trick to help and also have some pepto bismo on hand... I take the dramamine about 45 minutes before the flight takes off.

Depends on the weather.

No airport I have flown to in the US, Canada, or Mexico can predictably be considered to cause rough flights. It all depends on weather conditions.

Nope usually it's pretty smooth, but it really depends on the weather.

The destination doesn't determine how bumpy a flight is. It's the current conditions in the sky, which vary greatly. I have flown to Las Vegas a few times, and never had an extraordinarily bumpy flight.
