Each website you visit could have different prices. If you have a specific airline you like to fly, go to that website. I prefer Southwest Airlines. (www.southwest.com) Or visit one of the trip planning websites like priceline.com or orbitz.com to plan a trip. You can also get quotes on hotel prices on those websites.

The price will vary with date, day of week, time of day, airline and the tactics of the airlines revenue management department. I would recommend you to use the linked ITA tool. Just click guest, no need to register. Select the route or do a 30 day span search for cheapest tickets. If you find anything you like you should be able to purchase it on a normal travel site of your choice. It's really an excellent (non-profit) tool.
